My co-xtrovert brought up a good rant, and it actually inspired me to address something that has been annoying me alot lately when I go to the clubs or any event...particularly in Albany. Now I'm all about keeping up with the latest trends and anything related to fashion but I just want to know who told these girls that gladiator heels and long shirts were appropriate? I do find a minidress and heels to be a good look, but let's face it...when you got junk in the back there is only so much movement you can do in that dress. What's the point of going to a party and not being able to dance the way you want to because you're too busy trying to make sure your cheeks aren't showing....and some girls have the nerve to just buy long blouses and call it a dress when in actuality it really is just a long blouse. It's winter on top of that. Would it be a fashion crime to wear a nice shirt and jeans? I understand that some girls prefer to wear dresses because it gives them a more mature and stylish look, but how classy could you possibly look in neon-colored spandex skirts and "dresses" that look like a boy's dress shirt? You are not a celebrity, you're not out having a shopping day with the girls, and you're not even attending an event appropriate for a minidress. Living on a college campus does not exclude you from reality and in the real world it's really not cool or attractive to walk around dressed like that...not at a place where everyone's acting wild and dancing, at least. Have fun with fashion ladies, but tackiness is still tackiness.
...this is an example of how and when a minidress should be worn. (If and only if you are the type of female who can pull it off)
